Pittsburgh Steelers remain undefeated in pre-season 2022 of the NFLwhile working on your present it’s not Ben Roethlisberger anymore. The Pennsylvania team won by 16-15 at Jacksonville Jaguars.

Both teams struggled to get the game started, with more mistakes than successes but also with offensive streaks that took a long time. The Steelers did not score in the first quarterin which Jacksonville managed only one field goal, to which he added another already six minutes from the end of the first half.

Late in the second quarter, however, the first touchdown fell after Kenny Pickett entered: after a fine offensive streak with several completions, the Steelers took a 7-6 lead when Pickett found Benny Snell Jr. wide open to head into the end zone.

The ineffectiveness of returned fouls in the second half, with Mason Rudolf as a Pittsburgh quarterback: No offensive streak added points in the third quarter, but Jacksonville got two drives forward when his defense forced a Steelers safety.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh turned the ball over, and after a recovery in midfield, Jacksonville scored the touchdown on a CJ Beathard carries for 15-7.

The Steelers quickly got back into the game with a Nick Sciba 38-yard field goalafter a new offensive series slowed down by a lack of precision in the passes.

In the practice that followed, Jacksonville could have gone for the win, but Justin Layne intercepted a pass 14 yards from his own end zone.

The Steelers attack started practically in the middle of the field and after four complete passes from Rudolph, it ended with a touchdown connection Rudolph – Tyler Snead for 16-15 with less than two minutes remaining, with a failed two-point conversion attempt.

Jacksonville was third-and-12 at the start of the final offensive drive, but was saved by a 21-yard pass from EJ Perry to Kevin Austin Jr., who, along with another 14-yard pass to Jeff Cotton, served as the basis for reaching the field goal attempt that Ryan Santoso missed by 57 yardsin search of victory for the Jaguars.

In his debut, Pickett completed 13 of the 15 passes he attempted and added 95 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Mason Rudolph completed 17 of the 21 passes he attempted and had 127 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
