BTG Pactual maket, through boostLAB, the startup capabilities program of the investment bank, announced registration for Batch 2023. In the program, the bank will make a direct contribution to selected technology companies that have collaborations with the group. The invested amount will range from 500 thousand riyals to 1.5 million riyals.

Launched in 2018, BoostLAB aims to enhance value creation for startups and support entrepreneurswhich brings them closer to the financial market and access to capital.
The program is based on the full dedication of BTG Pactual’s partners, oversight by members of its executive committee, and guidance by the bank’s partners and prominent market executives, In addition to ACE Methodology, one of the largest corporate innovation companies in Latin America.
“We will draw on all of the expertise of our private equity team so that these startups stick together and become success stories,” concludes Pedro.
In all, the program has already supported 76 startups, of which 70% have done some business with BTG Pactual. And eight of them received investments from the bank: Agro, Ali Crédito, Finpass, Pierre Seguros, Liber Capital, Celcoin, iClubs and Digesto (sold to JusBrasil in 2021). In this version, all selected companies will receive investments.
Since the inception of the program, in its 10th edition, more than 3 thousand companies have registered. BoostLAB has already been awarded 7 global awards (4 times awarded by Global Finance magazine as one of the 25 best financial innovation labs in the world, 2 times by Open 100 Startups as 100 best ranked open bodies and 1st place in Open Innovation Latin America in the Corporate Startup Stars Award which Organized by Mind the Bridge in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Last year, Stonoex, a Brazilian fintech company specializing in commodity tokenization, He was one of those chosen by BTG Pactual’s BoostLAB software. In addition to Stonoex, 6 other companies were selected by the program: Finansystech, Flourish FI and Pagaleve, as well as Bornlogic, DEEP ESG and EmCasa.
Stonoex was the only company in the market for crypto assets and blockchain technology.
