Raca cryptocurrency (RACA) is up around 10% over the past seven days after announcing new implementations in its roadmap. The news includes the launch of a blockchain called Jaz Network, which will be the first sidechain of the BNB chain. In JAZ, according to RACA developers, GAS fees will be in BNB dollars.
During the announcement, the developers confirmed that JAZ’s focus will be on applications targeting the Web3, metaverse, and games. In the gaming sector, the announcement also highlights that there are several games already being developed on the blockchain, which are currently in the testing phase, and that many of these games will be released in 2023.
Two rounds of testing were conducted for JAZ Network on the test grids. The mainnet should be launched in February 2023. In addition to $BNB, another token on the platform will be $RACA, which will be a governance token for all games on the JAZ Chain. It will also be used for reward, voting and other functions within smart contracts.
In addition, the developers announced a partnership with the XR virtual concert platform Vtuber Vapollo Group, one of the largest developers of XR in the world, which provides technology that includes augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) with mixed reality (XR).
New developments for 2023
As announced, the partnership will lead to the launch of a 2D blue-chip NFT pool game “Looki”, the game will be called “Looki Looki Jazzi” and will be hosted within the USM metaverse, currently the largest metaverse by number of users on BNBChain.
“Looki Looki Jazzi is intended as the web 3.0 equivalent of Among Us. The game is set to provide customizable options for players, such as in-game avatars and skins for partner Vtubers (Virtual Youtubers). There will also be an option to slots for character avatars.”
The game is expected to be launched in March 2023 and users who log in with a .bab domain (DID based on BNBChain) as their username will get special in-game items.
Also according to the announcement, the Premier League guessing game will be launched within the metaverse, with rewards for users and also the launch of an SDK that supports all development, login, payment and data management mechanisms.
Last year, RACA announced a partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP) that expects to conduct research and other developments in the metaverse.
