Shiba Inu (SHIB), the memecoin that peaked in 2021 with cryptocurrency hype, is expected to announce in early 2023 the expansion of the project ecosystem, in this case the launch of its chain 2 blockchain, Shibarium. This is what Chitoshi Kusama, the pseudonym of the project developer, suggested to his nearly 865,000 followers in a post on the 24th, when the countries of the East were already celebrating Christmas:
“Happy holiday to more than half of the world. When is Cheparium? Know that it will arrive *very soon*, but not during an awkward time people are spending with their families (or the next New Year’s Eve party). Enjoy these next few days. The coming year is important for humanity.”
