French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has announced the launch of an exclusive series of NFTs on the Crypto.com platform to celebrate its 10th French Championship title. This initiative is the result of a partnership with Asian music superstar Jay Chou.
Called “Tiger Champs” — a reference to the year of the tiger — the pool will consist of 10,000 NFTs inspired by the club’s famous cats.
According to a press release from Crypto.com, the NFT Chain was released exclusively on Crypto.com/NFT on June 23, 2022. This is the first PSG-themed NFT pool to be released with Crypto.com.

Among the 10,000 Tiger Champs NFTs, there are ten unique items that depict one of the ten championships won by the club.
In addition, all 10 NFTs display one of Jay Chou’s favorite poses – the V sign for victory. Meanwhile, the left-hander holds the 2021-2022 Hexagoal Cup. Tiger Champs Legends NFTs wallpaper features graffiti art.
Also in the collection are 1970 Tiger Champs Premium NFTs. They stand out thanks to tiger poses inspired by ten different player celebrations. In the upper right corner of the digital element is the Parisian star, which symbolizes the ten French championship titles won by the club.
Finally, the remaining 8020 core NFTs in the group show the tiger making an “I love you” sign.
For all these NFT categories, there is a random customization process based on about a hundred criteria such as leopard pose, clothing, accessories, background with Parisian landmarks, etc. That is, each of the NFTs is completely unique.

This NFT project will give fans the chance to win tickets for my show in Paris next year. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain’s Brand Director Fabien Alleger revealed that the combination of music and football, with Jay Chou’s backing, has already been a success.
“We are delighted to see the results of this first collaborative project with Jay Chou, a loyal friend of the club and sponsor of the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund. It is the first time that we have made such a huge collection of NFTs available to fans. Over time, these NFTs will find their utility in designing common ground in metaverse”.
Also according to the statement, the launch of this chain is accompanied by a special NFT loyalty scheme. In addition to the chance for buyers to receive a random NFT, 10% of them will also receive a special gift related to the series.
The NFT group “Tiger Champs” is PSG’s third project in the NFT world. In April 2021, for example, the club teamed up with Lucky Buddy, and partnered a few weeks ago with the seventh-division Ballon d’Or.
