After the victory of the Brazilian national football team on Thursday (24), the amazing strike of midfielder Richarlison against Serbia has been converted into an NFT and offered for sale for R$ 140,000 through the OpenSea marketplace.
The Brazilian player’s NFT is just one of 50 items belonging to the “World Cup 22 Goals” collection, which was created in November this year to list moments from the World Cup, minted on the Polygon network.
This group seems to be scoring all the trophy goals and is offering these items for sale at the lowest price of 22 ETH. However, there is no official statement about FIFA’s involvement in minting these NFTs.

Richarlison has really moved the NFT market
Richarlison is one of the Brazilian players who have moved the NFT sports market over the past few months. Pombo has already launched some digital collections geared towards soccer fans, as recently reported by Criptofacil.
The official Richarlison pools are developed by IDG and have so far moved just over R$30,000, which is just 0.7% of the full pool of 23,406 NFTs.
Although “Pigeon’s” NFTs pools still enjoy a lower level of sales compared to the player’s 11 million followers, these movements clearly represent the current moment for the digital asset market.
